THERE IS A BOX WHICH SITS ON MY NIGHTSTAND WITH THE WORD "GRANMA" ON IT
MY LITTLE GRANDSON DID THIS ONE FOR ME, TY MICHAEL,GRANMA WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND ALWAYS
IT HAS BEEN A PART OF MY DAY ALWAYS REMINDING ME OF HOW HE STAYS PRECIOUS IN MY HEART AND IN THE HEART OF GOD

 THERE IS A SET OF EARRINGS AND A NECKLACE WHICH MORGAN MADE FOR ME AND I DARE NOT WEAR THEM OFTEN BECAUSE I TEND TO LOSE JEWELRY . SAVING THEM FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND BEING ABLE TO JUST KNOW THAT THIS LOVELY GIRL WITH TENDER HEART HAS THOUGHT ENOUGH TO MAKE ME THIS SET,  IS  A TESTIMONY OF HER LOVE AND KINDNESS. MORGAN, MY FIRST GRANDBABY, WILL HOLD THAT PLACE IN MY HEART AS GOD'S ASSURANCE OF HIS MERCY AND TRUTH

THERE IS ART WORK FROM MY TWO YOUNGEST ONES ON THE FRIDGE, KAYLIE AND ASHLEY
AS I LOOK AT IT DAILY IT TOO REMINDS ME THAT THEY ARE GROWING UP QUICKLY AND MY PRAYERS FOR THEM ARE ALWAYS  THAT THEY WILL GROW UP KNOWING OUR SAVIOR JESUS, OH I LOVE THEM, KAYLIE WITH HER SWEET WAYS AND ASHLEY, BOUNCY LIKE TIGGER,AND LOVING EVERYONE SHE MEETS, I WANT TO KNOW THEM MORE AND HOPE TO DO SO

AND THE CARDS AT CHRISTMAS, ALL THE WORK THEY PUT INTO THEM
I CHERISH THEM,READ THEM AND PRAY THAT ALWAYS THESE CHILDREN WILL KNOW HOW GIFTED AND WONDERFUL THEY ARE IN GOD'S EYES AND OURS

THIS IS MY GIFT TO THEM
I WILL PERHAPS NOT HAND THEM SOMETHING BUT WILL PRAY THEY WILL HAND WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO TO OTHERS
THAT PRECIOUS SALVATION WE HAVE IN JESUS THAT LOVE WHICH PASSES ALL LOVES AND PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING
AND WISDOM THAT CAN SURPASS THAT OF ALL THE WISDOM THIS WORLD HAS TO OFFER
MY HEART HAS BEEN GROWN BY JESUS TO HOLD PLACES OF EQUAL SIZE AND MEASURE AND LOVE FOR ALL SEVEN OF THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN SO OF VALUE TO OUR GOD, THAT IS A MIRACLE, TY GOD

             I can never remember how many times I used this same excuse system:

 If only I could get a beak

I never seem to be in the right place at the right time

 This country offers me nothing now with all that is going on

 So many excuses and all untrue:

 Jesus nonetheless walks up to the man which to me, is a real blessing because how could such a thing happen,I wonder?

 I mean if I am pathetically laying there for many years feeling sorry for myself and making excuses why I cannot rise to the water, why should the Son of God come to me?

  I need a good kick in the butt is what I need.

But Jesus does not think so............

 Instead He heals the man and offers him eternal life!!!!!

 Now wait a sec........ Should Jesus not have lectured him on how he should not be a lazy slob and make excuses all his life?

 Should Jesus not point out to him how God only helps those who help themself?(not biblical yet we use it a lot)

 NO, No, NO!!!!! Our Jesus asks him a good question such as,"Buddy, do ya wanna be well?" which leads up to a host of excuses the man has for his being in that state all the long years he was there.  boy if I was there I would have given that man a piece of my mind!!!!

 Or wait a sec, my excuses are pretty much the same as his,or so I think they are

 I can run off a dozen right now without even thinking bout it

YET THROUGH ALL THIS EXCUSE MAKING LAZY PITIFUL BEHAVIOR JESUS STILL CAME TO THE MAN.

 HE STILL COMES TO US

 He is NOT in the business of shaming or blaming but rather RENAMING us in His name!!!!
 Jesus saw something in this pathetic man even though there were many others there waiting for a healing too

Yet we are only told of this mans story at this particular place and time

 Without thinking about why that is I rather praise God for His mercy and care,His ever lasting protection.
